Provides cover if you need to cancel or cut your journey before it begins because you, a travelling companion, someone you are going to stay with or a relative is ill, seriously injured, has had an accident or died.

Provides cover if you need to cut your journey short because you have been hospitalized, a travelling companion, someone you are staying with or a relative is ill, seriously injured, has had an accident or died.

Provides cover for medical expenses in case you are hospitalized due to an accident, illness or injury during your journey. (no pre-existing medical conditions covered)

If deemed medical necessary we shall organise your evacuation to the nearest or most suitable medical facility to provide the required care for your condition. In extreme circumstances we may need to repatriate you back to your home country.

We will pay the costs for transportation of your remains in the unfortunate event of your death, or the death of any person covered under your policy, during your journey.

In case of an emergency we shall cover you for dental treatment to relieve sudden pain. 

If you are hospitalized for more than 48 continuous hours we shall pay you a sum per day for the out of pocket expenses incurred during your hospital stay.

On medical advice we will pay for a close relative to stay with you, or travel to you from your home country in case you are hospitalized.

Provides cover for the costs associated with issuing a new passport (and visa) in case of loss, theft or damage during your journey.

Provides cover for lost and / or stolen personal money during your journey.

If your bags are temporarily lost or delayed on your outward journey for more than 4 hours we will reimburse the costs of essential items, per 4 hour period, until your bags arrive.

If your personal belongings and baggage is damaged, stolen, lost or destroyed on your journey we will either replace or repair the items or reimburse you the cost.

You are covered up to a specified limit for valuables. The following are considered to be valuables under your policy; jewelry, watches, items made of or containing precious metals or semi/precious stones, furs, binoculars, telescopes, computer games, any kind of photographic equipment (camera, camcorder), audio, video, computer, television, fax and phone equipment (including mobile phones), MP3 players, tablets, laptops, PDAs, electronic games, TVs and CDs, mini discs, DVDs, cartridges, video and audio tapes.

You are covered up to a specified limit for items as well as pairs and sets. Pairs and sets are those possessions that belong together or can be used together.

You are covered up to a specified limit for tobacco, alcohol and fragrances.

You, or your beneficiary, will receive a compensation amount if during your journey an accident occurs which leads to total and permanent loss of sight or limb, permanent total disablement or death within a year of its occurrence.

You shall be eligible for a compensation amount in case you, or any person covered under your policy, suffers from loss of sight in one or both eyes or total and permanent loss of use of one or both hands and feet during your journey.

You shall be eligible for a compensation amount in case you, or any person covered under your policy, suffers from a permanent physical disability during your journey and as a result there is no paid work which you are able to do.

We will cover the cost of extra accommodation and transport expenses you have to pay to get to your journey destination or back home because you did not get to your departure point due to public transport not running to its schedule timetable or the vehicle you are travelling in has as accident or breaks down.

You will be eligible for a compensation amount for each 6 hour period you are delayed at your departure point after the first 6 hour delay.

We will cover you for costs you are legally liable to pay due to a result of bodily injury to any person, loss of or damage to property which you do not own, hired, loaned or borrowed or loss of or damage to accommodation you are using that does not belong to you during your journey.

In the unfortunate event of being violently assaulted or attacked whilst withdrawing funds from an ATM, or within 2 hours thereafter, we will reimburse you the amount stolen. Should any medical expenses be incurred as a result of this assault or attack this will be covered under ‘Emergency Medical Expenses’.

We will reimburse you costs of legal expenses and any bail bond amounts in case of false arrest or wrongful detention by any Government or Foreign Power.
